This restaurant is a great place for wonderful food, a relaxed atmosphere, and a welcoming owner! We found it by chance while in downtown Olympia. The gyros were fresh and delicious. The restaurant is very clean. It has a casual, relaxing atmosphere conducive to visiting during your meal. The menu offers a wide variety of food, including some lovely curries. Great mix of Indian, Mediterranean and American, prepared with care and fresh ingredients..
The owner, Raj, is gracious and friendly. The service is wonderful and sincere. Do not miss the opportunity to try this restaurant! It is a sweet little gem in downtown Olympia! -

The aloo mutter mushroom was extremely oily and under seasoned. The "garlic" naan (there was absolutely no garlic anywhere on or inside the bread) was barely cooked dough, still raw and floppy. While the breading of the samosa was cooked through, it was dense and the filling's flavors were unauthentic and bland. A tamarind chutney is normally thicker and presents a sweet and savory flavor; their version seems nearly acidic. The preparation and delivery was prompt, but the food was disappointing.
I was excited to see a varied menu with vegan options, and gave RJ's a chance because of positive reviews. Suppose I should have known better. Ordered off of Uber Eats. -

This place is a moderately decent place nestled in downtown Olympia. They serve food, wine, beer and fountain drinks.
I went here April 1st, 2019 (yesterday) and they had only 1 other customer in here. So they were deffinately not busy.
So, let's start with the ordering process. You go up to the counter and order from an easy to read menu.
I ordered Lamb Kabob. Its 2 skewers of lamb which had 4 small pieces of meat each skewer, picture posted shows and I included a menu picture as well. The rice was obviously from a box and extremely bland. The salad on the plate was also from a bag, which is understandable due to quality freshness, also bland with little to no dressing. According to the menu your supposed to get pita bread as well, I did not. Overall the only thing that was good was the lamb on a stick. I also ordered a glass of wine. Wanted a red but all they had was a Chardonnay available unless I wanted to buy a whole bottle.
My husband joined me and ordered the curry. I got one bite out of it, as usual. Lol.
We ordered some Garlic Naan, which was bland and tasted like bread with garlic salt on it.
It took only 8 minutes to make all this food, surprisingly. I actually timed it.
The cashier was new but she was nice and I have nothing to say other than she had an up eat personality on her first day of work. So 1 star for her and 1 star for the lamb being good.
Good price for the amount of reheated food, I guess.
I don't think we will be going back though. -

Fantastic place with fantastic food. These guys understand curry and have a great selection. I have been treated like royalty every time I've been here. Highly recommended.

Awesome restaurant in the heart of downtown Olympia. The owner is very generous and accommodating. Food is awesome and delicious. Restaurant is clean and spacious. Recommend the lamb kabobs, Tikka marsala and the garlic naan. Can't go wrong with any of the selections though.
